iAllowance Lite with Chores App Reviews

Im just getting this set up for my kids, but am very excited about the app. I like that I can give him the opportunity to earn game time or money for the next video game he wants to purchase. Im also going to figure out a way to use it for my teenage driver who just started driving. ;-)

We love this app. After searching for a rewards app we finally found this one and we’re happy we did. Our children respond to the app and it’s been very helpful in reinforcing good behavior. I contacted the developer with a question and they responded back the same day! Well done. We highly recommend this app.

iAllowance is the most comprehensive, customizable, and user friendly allowance/chore app I have seen. In addition to the product their customer service is outstanding. The YouTube instructional videos are very helpful. I tried a few when looking for an app and hands down this one is superior. I waisted my money on another app that somehow gets a large amount of great reviews. I was thoroughly disappointed I how it allowed for zero flexibility and customization.

I have tried several different star reward and allowance apps before. This app is surely the best in terms of functionality and interface. In addition, the developer was very responsive when I encountered a problem. Five stars for this awesome app.

this app changed our world! our kids now do chores happily and without a fight. the custom features are awesome and it allows us to keep track of their allowance virtually without having to hand them cash. support for this app is top notch. whenever I have questions. support always replies.

We were looking for a way to incentivize and manage our kids through an allowance and chores program. We are thrilled to have found iAllowance. It works amazingly well… and the customer service is super supportive and responsive in helping with any questions as you set up and customize your familys initial set up. We highly recommend this program.

I switched to this app from another one in the App Store because the developer works hard to maintain it and it offers high functionality with straight forward approach. We use this app to manage allowance for older son (with chores) and a behavioral chart for my youngest one, who uses stars to redeem privileges like video games and tv. Great app with frequent updates.

Lovely app, great customer service when I once encountered a little problem. Solved easily. I keep track of chores, rewards and pocketmoney for my two kids. Kids love I can show them their banktotals for charity, spending and saving. All adjustable for once in a while extra deposits and we never forget a week! We have full version and definitely recommend. Easy to use app, straight forward design. Never crashed on my iphone 6. Two thumbs up!

This app literally solved a huge point of contention in our family, the dreaded "how much do I have in my allowance?" We use this excellent app on a regular basis and sync it between our devices, so were always in sync. The auto-add feature is awesome, as is the ability to add rewards and penalties. Support is quick and solved our one problem easily. Highly recommended!

I tell everyone with kids that I know about this app. I found it after my sons 5th birthday when he lost $40 of his birthday money. "No more cash in your rooms!!" But then how do we keep track of how much money the kids have? This app is awesome! Anytime they get or earn money, it gets entered right away. Any time they spend it, it gets taken out right away. No more "you could have gotten that if you brought your money." Or "ok Ill get it, but you have to pay me back when you get home..." (Which never happens!) plus it keeps track of chores and accounts for non money perks!! We live this app. Thank you 100 times!! You guys rock!!!

Great app, easy to use and intuitive. Best part is the customer service. I got hung up on a feature and emailed the help address, the developer got back to my the next day and fixed my problem. Top notch service. Thank you!

I am very disappointed in this app as it has potential. However, after hours of troubleshooting with the developer (he is very responsive and willing to help) the app is still not functioning as advertised. Having purchased the full version for the sole purpose of syncing between devices, Ive wasted my money. The app is also tedious to set up having taken a very long time to set up. I would have been ok with this had the app performed as expected. Unfortunately it did not and after many emails back and forth with the developer and many instructions followed in an attempt to fix the issues, I have to cut my losses and move on to another app. If you plan to use this app on one device, I would recommend it. If your goal is to sync more than one device, try something else.

We use this to automatically put $ Im kids virtual accounts each week. We would always forget before we had an app. If they get birthday money, they give it to us and we add it to account. If we are at Target and they want to buy something, I just deduct it from account on the spot. I accidentally deleted the app and Jim, the developer, was great about showing me how to get it back from Dropbox backup. I love this app.

I wanted a simple app that allowed me to track an allowance for my one child, mostly because I would forget to give her her allowance. This app keeps me on the straight and narrow. I upgraded so that I could have separate spending and savings accounts for her, which is a nice feature. I do not sync the app to any other device which might be a problem if I ever lose all of my data...

Fired the app for the first time in a few weeks and it said I had 99 transactions for each child (should be no more than three for weekly allowances). Looking at the lists, it appears there were no transactions since last launch...no September allowances have been entered like they should. I noticed syncing was off so I re-enabled it. Now all the accounts have double the money they should? Ill be looking for a more reliable alternative.

If you want to add more than one child, you have to pay to add them! Or purchase the upgraded version....

Takes some time to set up and get used to, but well worth it. It has made a world of difference in my childrens habits and behavior!!!
